Ten Baby Barn Owls Surprise Everyone in Fermanagh
Big news for owl lovers in County Fermanagh!
Ten barn owl chicks have hatched at two secret places.
They are the first chicks seen in the county for 50 years.
A wildlife charity worked with farmers for more than 10 years. Together they put up nest boxes for the owls.
Barn owls need long grass and thick hedges to hunt over.
Each chick now wears a small ring on its leg. This helps people know the owl if they see it again.
The nest places stay secret to keep the owls safe.
